September in Prague

September 21-23, 2003, we attended the first international meeting of information literacy experts in Prague, The Czech Republic. Sponsored by UNESCO, the National Commission of Library and Information Sciences, and the National Forum on Information Literacy, over 60 delegates from around the globe attended the conference to discuss the critical importance of information literacy and its definitive impact on our ever evolving Information Society.
